Building and Safety performed an initial assessment and will be sending out a specialist within 48 hours for an additional slope assessment. Responders on scene were in close communication with residents, explaining the situation and findings. No official evacuation order was given. No reported injuries. Additional questions are referred to LA Department of Building and Safety. Crews arrived and are on scene assessing the situation. Department of Building and Safety is also responding with a Geologist to conduct an assessment. Firefighters are in close communication with residents in the immediate area (approximately 5 homes in the vicinity). There is currently no evacuation order. Firefighters discovered an outside (cooking?) fire had extended into the home's attic. It took 36 firefighters 19 minutes to access, confine, and extinguish the flames. One adult female was evaluated for symptoms related to minor smoke inhalation, and declined hospital transport. No firefighter injuries. Crews arrived to find smoke showing from the structure and requested additional resources as they advanced hose lines and made forcible entry into the building. It took 32 firefighters 15 minutes to access, confine and extinguish the flames. No reported injuries. No injury.
