Thermo Nicolet Nexus 870 FTIR
Thermo Nicolet Nexus 870 Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer equipped with three beam splitters: Solid Substrate (far-IR), KBr (Mid-IR) and Quartz (Visible and Near-IR).

Nitrogen doped 4H-SiC terahertz emitters.
Four detectors are installed on this system: Liquid helium-cooled bolometer (600 – 50cm-1), DTGS-Pyroelectric detector (700-50cm-1), DTGS-TEC detector (11,000 – 375 cm-1), InGaAs detector (12,000 – 3800 cm-1), liquid nitrogen cooled MCT-B Detector (11000 – 400cm-1) and Si detector (25000 – 8600 cm-1).
The spectrometer is capable of doing continuous scan and step scan with a resolution up to 0.125 cm-1. It also has a port for external source and another port for external detector for specific applications.
