ECE Instructor Steven Hegedus
UD solar expert to speak at local church
Steven Hegedus, a scientist at the University of Delaware Institute of Energy Conversion, will participate in a panel discussion on solar power, scheduled at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the Newark United Methodist Church, 69 East Main St.
The program, organized by Mark Deshon, assistant policy scientist with UD's Institute for Public Administration and a member of the church, is designed to initiate a dialog about the potential for solar power for the church.
Also participating on the panel will be representatives of two other area churches that have completed solar projects recently.
The event, sponsored by the church's Board of Trustees, is open to the public
