One bathroom contained a small amount of fire in the ducting near a fan motor. 26 firefighters located and extinguished the fire in the vent and walls in 26 minutes. No reported injuries. Update Police Incident KNOCKDOWN 01/19/2020 INC#1570

Update KNOCKDOWN Police Incident; INC#1570; 11:47PM; 1124 N New Hampshire Av; http://bit.ly/2uYtsQ2; East Hollywood; LAPD apprehended the barricaded suspect and secured the area where fire was burning, and LAFD engaged in suppression. A first floor unit of the fourplex was destroyed by the fire, but firefighters were able to keep the flames in check from outside the structure with a hose aimed through a window, while awaiting an "ALL CLEAR" from LAPD. Fire did not extend into any other units (just some residual smoke). LAPD transported the suspect (unknown age/condition/gender/affiliation) to the hospital via LAFD ambulance. Red cross has been notified to assist the family of the unit that was destroyed and SAVE cards will be issued. NOTHING FURTHER. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1345; 7:40PM; 21055 W Ingomar St; http://bit.ly/2TxgHGx; Canoga Park; At the same home that burned on Friday, 26 firefighters extinguished flames (initially through the roof) in 16 minutes. LAFD's vertical ventilation was still in place from the previous night. Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines to the interior to extinguish the flames. The cause is currently unknown. Arson investigators are en route and building overhaul will not commence until investigators have examined the scene (preserve potential evidence). One firefighter was injured (non-life--threatening) and will be transported in fair condition. Update Structure Fire KNOCKDOWN 01/18/2020 INC#0151

Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0151; 3:33AM; 328 E 18th St; http://bit.ly/2URPs84; Downtown; This commercial building contained clothing and boxes with excessive storage conditions. Fire attack searched for the seat of the fire in heavy smoke conditions in the large building, eventually finding it and extinguishing it, with assistance from the ventilation group on the roof to help with smoke conditions. Fire sprinklers kept the flames from spreading through the rest of the building. Overall, 55 firefighters took 49 minutes to fully extinguish the fire. No reported injuries.
