Ground crews (12 fire companies assigned) are working on anchoring and flanking the fire from two sides, and LAFD Air Ops are en route. Multiple fires in the area (unknown if fires are affiliated in any way). Cause is under investigation. Structure Fire; INC#0241; 06:40AM; 14015 W Van Nuys Bl; https://bit.ly/2A6lgQE; Arleta; The first 26 LAFD personnel extinguished a fire contained mostly in the walls and attic of one unit (party supply store) of a strip mall in 23 minutes (at 7:03AM). Firefighters were initially challenged in locating all hidden areas of fire extension. Rooftop ventilation aided in clearing smoke inside, allowing fire attack crews to work more quickly in achieving a knockdown. No reported injuries. Structure Fire; INC#1036; 05:38PM; 835 N Fuller Av; https://bit.ly/3gVpafR; Fairfax; KNOCKDOWN (5:58PM); In a joint effort with LA County FD, 30 LAFD firefighters extinguished a fire in a woodworking shop in a garage below a two-story residential building (at least 7 units, built in 1987) in 20 minutes, preventing any spread into the living quarters above. One patient is being assessed by LAFD firefighter-paramedics. COVID-19 Testing 06/03/2020

COVID-19 Testing; 01:15PM; internal:/; Due to events occurring throughout the City of Los Angeles over the last several days, the ONLY City of Los Angeles "Drive-through" COVID-19 testing sites that will be open tomorrow, Thursday, June 4, 2020, are the Dodger Stadium testing site located at 1001 Scott Ave (enter through gate B), and the Crenshaw Christian Center testing site located at 8901 S. Vermont Ave (enter off of 79th St.). Appointments for June 4th scheduled at locations other than Dodger Stadium or Crenshaw Christian Center have been moved to the Dodger Stadium site. Thank you for your understanding as we all work together through these challenging times.
