KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1336; 08:16PM; 207 S Vermont Av; https://bit.ly/3GL8tRc; Koreatown; KNOCKDOWN: Over 100 firefighters extinguished the fire in one hour and 36 minutes. The roof collapse of a portion of the building made it difficult to reach pockets of fire in the defensive posture which caused an extended operation. Heavy equipment is on scene to assist with clearing debris and taking down unsafe walls if required. Firefighters will remain on the incident through the night continuing the overhaul operation and conducting fire watch. No injuries reported. Upon arrival, firefighters located a patient in grave condition following an electrocution OUTSIDE of the vault - therefore it is not a confined space incident. The patient is being treated/transported by firefighter/paramedics. It is unknown at this time if this is an employee (whether private or city) or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
