No injury. There are a handful of automotive dealerships in the area, and we are seeking to confirm the current status and ownership/affiliation of the structure. One or more lanes of Roscoe Boulevard will remain closed between the San Diego (I-405) Freeway and Sepulveda Boulevard until LAFD operations are complete early Saturday morning. Motorists should anticipate congestion and avoid the area. The cause of the fire is under active investigation. Update Structure Fire - Chatsworth; INC#1711; 11:27PM; 20150 W Sunburst St; https://bit.ly/3mr2plI; Chatsworth; KNOCKDOWN: 120 firefighters extinguished the blaze in one hour and thirty-four minutes. A representative from the Dept of Building and Safety has red-tagged the building due to potential collapse. Consequently, all LAFD ladderpipe operations are on hold while the building is under further evaluation to determine if it is safe to continue master streams as part of the overhaul operation. No additional injuries reported. The one firefighter transported had only a minor injury. LAFD Arson will investigate the cause of the fire per protocol.
