Early in the incident, one 35-year-old male was rescued from the burning building and transported to a nearby hospital by LAFD with minor smoke inhalation (no burns) in fair condition. LAFD CERT volunteers generously responded to provide hydration and rehab for firefighters during the incident. This fire appears to have started at the ground level and burned up through the walls to involve the fourth floor and attic.
