Firefighters began extricating one trapped driver, but sadly, the patient was beyond medical help. One LAFD member became ill at the peak of the firefight, and has been taken to an area hospital in fair condition for further evaluation. All forward progress of the fire has been stopped. No injuries. No structure damage. No wind.
