This will be an extended operation, possibly spanning more than one day, to allow for heavy equipment to remove debris and uncover smoldering materials. Interim housing accommodations are being made for displaced residents (total number currently unknown). No firefighter injuries reported. Update Structure Fire; INC#0131; 06:30AM; 4057 S Main St; https://bit.ly/2X1vZU3; Historic South-Central; Firefighters continue to make slow progress on this stubborn fire. The fire building has been evacuated, and as a precaution, the four adjacent buildings have also been evacuated. The apartment building is showing signs of compromise on one side, and crews have cleared the potential collapse zone. There have been no additional patients reported (besides the first 2 reported - 1 transported, 1 declined). Fire in the basement has been extinguished. Firefighters continue to apply water through windows on the fire unit and on the (at least 2) exposed buildings adjacent to the structure. All occupants evacuated from the building with one transported in fair (stable) condition with unknown injuries (age/gender unknown at this time).
