Update Traffic Collision 01/27/2020 INC#1552

Update Traffic Collision; INC#1552; 08:55PM; SB 110 Fwy x King Blvd; http://bit.ly/38GNBsD; Vermont Square; Two damaged passenger vehicles remain on freeway, with no injury there. Solo patient is the unconscious approximately 50 year-old male driver of a big rig postal truck that left the Harbor Freeway, coming to rest overturned near 37th St / Flower St. He was briefly trapped in the tractor cab of his big rig before being freed by LAFD responders in less than 10 minutes. He is now en route to a nearby trauma center in critical condition. Both LAPD South Traffic (Incident #5034) and CHP Central LA (Log #3015) have responded. Investigative jurisdiction has yet to be determined. Trapped Vehicle; INC#0199; 04:19AM; 954 W Florence Av; http://bit.ly/2GnNAxF; Vermont Knolls; LAFD responded to a single vehicle collision (vs pole) involving LAPD vehicle and reports of officers trapped. Two LAPD Officers were out of vehicle prior to LAFD arrival (multiple LAPD units responded to their Help call and assisted). The patrol vehicle was fully involved in fire on LAFD arrival and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. Despite initial reports, there was no K9 Officer in the vehicle. Both officers (Males approx 28 and 30yo) were transported with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries reported.
