LAFD High School Cadets Graduate from Valley Youth Fire Academy

Los Angeles – The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) will host a graduation ceremony to mark the successful completion by more than 65 high school students of the annual autumn Los Angeles Valley Youth Fire Academy on Saturday, November 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Drill Tower 81, 14355 Arminta St., Panorama City, 90731.

High school students from six Los Angeles Unified School District campuses (Panorama HS, James Monroe HS, Cleveland HS, Fulton HS, Northridge HS, and Van Nuys HS) participated in the eight-week academy designed to train students for a prospective career in fire and emergency services. The graduation ceremony will feature a practical skills demonstration by the cadets that will highlight the culmination of their training.
