Please VOTE to help us Save Lives with Hands Only CPR

LOS ANGELES-

We have the opportunity to save even more lives but we need your vote!

The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation is in competition for a $100,000 grant through the website GOOD Maker.

If selected, this grant will be used to launch the High School CPR program and 50,000 students will be trained in Hands-Only CPR each year.  Did you know, if CPR is initiated within the first minute, survival rates increase by 87%? That is powerful.

Over 6,000 kids in the U.S. experience cardiac arrest each year.  By training high school students across Los Angeles, we will create a tremendously valuable resource.  An immediate response from bystanders while awaiting LAFD arrival is critical.  We can’t be everywhere within 1 minute but with thousands of trained high schoolers scattered throughout the City, THEY have the chance to make a real difference.

Please help us get one step closer to this CPR training program grant.

All you need to do is go to bit.ly/vote4cpr to vote…it’s that simple.  Please vote and share with all your friends.

Together, we can change lives.
