KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0123; 03:32AM; 3700 S Broadway St; https://bit.ly/3JE0gje; Historic South-Central; KNOCKDOWN: 52 firefighters extinguished the fire in one hour and six mins. The fire was contained to the scrubber system (used to remove harmful materials from industrial exhaust gases before they are released into the environment). It is believed there was a build-up of lint within the system that ignited (similar to a dryer fire). No injuries reported. Crews will remain on scene, ensuring there are no remaining hot spots within the system prior to concluding the incident.
