Rubbish Fire; INC#0429; 07:32AM; Wb Santa Monica Fy x Lawrence St; https://bit.ly/3LeU0Pj; Downtown; A large amount of pallets and rubbish burning under the freeway is creating significant smoke which will impact driver safety, therefore the CHP is shutting down the 10 Freeway in both directions until it is safe to re-open. Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes. Additional resources were requested to aid in accessing the area from both sides. No injuries reported. The 9-1-1 call was received at 7:32AM.
