Update Brush Fire; INC#1020; 03:41PM; 4110 N Monterey Rd; https://bit.ly/37HzWmz; Montecito Heights; LAFD has 29 fire companies on scene in Debs Park working to get a perimeter around the fire. It remains mainly a terrain driven fire in medium to heavy brush with no winds. LAFD Air Ops continues to provide aerial water drops while firefighters are making their way up the hillsides with hand lines. LACoFD is responding with hand crews to assist with cutting line. There are currently no homes threatened but LAFD engines are in place at the top of the ridge (vicinity of Bushnell Way and Terrill Ave), prepared to deploy for structural defense if necessary. There are no evacuations in place and no injuries reported.
