One adult male civilian who sustained minor smoke inhalation, has declined hospital transportation. No other injury reported. There was no fire, illness or injury. All residents are now being allowed to re-enter the building, as one LAFD awaits the arrival of So Cal Gas. Investigation; INC#0454; 10:10AM; 1001 S Olive St; http://bit.ly/353SxXC; Downtown; PRELIM: LAFD investigating an odor of natural gas on the 5th and 6th floors - and possibly outside or near the 186,931 square-foot, 7 story (Oakwood) "Olympic & Olive" residential apartment building (https://oakwoodolympicandolive.com/). There is no fire, illness or injury. Some residents of the 201 unit complex have calmly and safely departed floors 5 and 6. So Cal Gas has a crew en route to assist with the investigation. The (approx) 35M will be transported to a trauma center in critical condition. No injuries reported to any passengers aboard the train.
