The was fire outside and inside the rear of the structure. No reported injuries. No reported injuries. Update Electrocution 09/11/2019 INC#0802

Update Electrocution; INC#0802; 06:05PM; 5600 W Zoo Dr; http://bit.ly/2I2aM5z; Griffith Park; This was reported as a suspected electrocution for the initial dispatch. We want to stress that the cause is yet to be determined. The affiliation and circumstances of a deceased adult male (unk age) at the foot of this high voltage transmission tower remains unknown, as there was no witness, bystander, or family member present to shed light on this information. This operation is a body recovery to assist the coroner. The victim will be handed over to the coroner at the conclusion of the USAR operation to remove the victim from this remote location. The Incident Commander, crews on scene, and the LAFD media desk have no additional information. Update Electrocution 09/11/2019 INC#0802

Update Electrocution; INC#0802; 05:20PM; 5600 W Zoo Dr; http://bit.ly/2I2aM5z; Griffith Park; Due to the steep grade at this remote location of the body recovery and the high voltage transmission wires above the victim, an air ops hoist has been determined to be too hazardous. The LAFD USAR ground crews will be assessing the situation for the most effective ground removal of the victim. Crews are challenged by steep/uneven terrain and poison oak. The cause of death has still not been confirmed. Knockdown Major Emergency Structure Fire 09/09/2019 INC#0008

Knockdown Major Emergency Structure Fire; INC#0008; 03:03AM; 1915 E 7th St; http://bit.ly/2ZLKteN; Downtown - #ArtsDistrict; It took 186 Los Angeles Firefighters 2 hrs and 53 mins to fully extinguish fierce flames that consumed Payman Fabric, a wholesale fabric firm in the downtown Arts District that occupied a 10,360 square-foot one story building. The relentless rotational effort of LAFD responders spared the two adjoining businesses, an art and craft supply business to the east, and what appears to be a paint firm to the west. Though no civilians were injured, three LAFD members required medical care due to the prolonged battle, including two who were injured, and another who experienced exhaustion. None of the men's injuries or illness was considered life threatening. The trio were taken to the hospital for first care, and were expected to be treated and released. The cause of the fire remains under active investigation. While there have been no civilian injuries, the intense battle with flames has led to 3 LAFD members requiring medical attention for non-life threatening issues, including two injuries and one case of exhaustion. The firefight continues in a defensive posture with all operations outside the burning building, which has become structurally unsound.
