Update Structure Fire; INC#1589; 01:31PM; 8142 N Sunland Bl; https://bit.ly/3y3f2uu; Sun Valley; In mostly defensive operations, for over two hours, 87 firefighters battled flames with at least four ladder pipes and several other heavy streams in operation on the commercial building with one-story and two-story portions. The bulk of the fire is knocked down, however it will be an extended operation to access the remaining pockets of fire within the debris. LAFD Heavy Equipment has been called to the incident to assist. Other crews are being released to reduce the number of personnel committed. No reported injuries.
