Complete - Rescue; INC#1085; 03:58PM; 8367 W Beverly Bl; https://bit.ly/3ov1jsE; #BeverlyGrove; LAFD Firefighters, including an LAFD Urban Search and Rescue team specially trained, equipped and certified to manage confined space rescues, have utilized a high-point rope system with wrist straps to quickly and safely rescue the conscious and alert adult male, who was trapped feet-first, eleven feet from the rooftop, in an approximately 18" metal ventilation shaft at a vacant two story restaurant. He claimed he had been there for as much as 24 hours. The man, who has no visible injuries, was medically evaluated by LAFD Paramedic. At least three of the patients are confirmed to have sustained gunshot injury, including one Male and one Female, both transported in Critical condition. There are no other patients remaining at scene. The incident circumstances, patient demographics, affiliation and precise nature of each patient's injuries have yet to be confirmed.
