It is uncertain as to the nature of the business housed in the structure but appears to be only ordinary combustibles (no chemicals, etc). LAFD PIOs are on scene for media availability. LAFD Arson is responding for the cause investigation per protocol for a Greater Alarm. All firefighters are exiting the structure and coming down off the roof. LAFD Hazardous Materials Squad is evaluating a possible oxygen tank exposed to the fire. The type of business is still unknown. Interior fire attack is facing heavy smoke and is working to locate the seat of the fire. The truck company conducted vertical ventilation and are getting heavy smoke from the holes. Firefighters attempted to reach by ground but due to the trail access, an air operation was determined to be the safest option. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 03/07/2022 INC#1845

KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1845; 11:20PM; 19223 W Saticoy St; https://bit.ly/3tDCKMf; Reseda; Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines and contained the fire to its unit of origin. It took 26 firefighters just 13 minutes to extinguish the flames. There was smoke damage to other units on the floor above. Firefighter-paramedics evaluated and treated four patients, and transported at least two of them to the hospital (unknown ages/genders/conditions). Thankfully, everyone escaped the building, as audible alarms could be heard from functional smoke detectors warning occupants of the danger.
