Grass Fire; INC#0572; 10:33AM; SB 5 Fwy x Tuxford St On-Ramp; https://bit.ly/2BTHVkc; Sun Valley; Forward progress of a vegetation fire alongside the southbound lanes of the Golden State (I-5) Freeway near Tuxford Street has been stopped by LAFD ground crews at 1 (one) acre. No injury. No structure threat. We ask motorists to use caution as firefighters will continue to work on the freeway's right shoulder for at least the next hour in mopping up hot spots and smoldering debris. The Tuxford Street on-ramp to SB 5 Fwy will remain closed until LAFD operations are complete.
