Knockdown - Fire; INC#1085; 04:44PM; 919 E 118th St; https://bit.ly/3cAqAMl; Green Meadows; 31 LAFD Firefighters, assisted seamlessly by LACoFD units in Automatic Aid (at our shared border), took just 31 minutes to access and extinguish burning vegetation alongside the eastbound lanes of the Glenn Anderson (I-105) Freeway (aka Century Freeway) in LAFD jurisdiction. Though as many as 5 detached garages were briefly threatened, teamwork by LAFD and LACoFD responders prevented harm to those buildings or nearby homes. No injuries reported.
