The super scoopers and Sky Crane are in operation this morning. At least 25 structures destroyed. No change to the evacuation zones at this time (approximately 12,700 homes affected). One firefighter sustained a minor eye injury. One civilian suffered cardiac arrest and firefighters provided immediate life-saving care, unfortunately he died at the hospital. Firefighters have assisted approximately 100 residents requiring help to evacuate safely. Both Mason Park and Granada Hills evacuation centers and FULL and no longer accepting new residents. Sylmar Rec center remains OPEN.
