Update River Rescue; INC#0581; 11:00AM; 352 La River; https://bit.ly/3Z1j1n4; #BoyleHeights; A man was seen descending from the 6th Street Bridge down into the flowing water of the LA River. The man traveled over three-quarters of a mile southbound in the water, passed under the Santa Monica (10) Freeway and managed to escape the water flow before getting to the Olympic Bridge. The man had injuries (undetermined extent) and waited on the bank for LAFD personnel who evaluated, treated, and prepared him for transport.
