Fire was eliminated on the first floor, second floor, and roof. No one was found to be occupying the building (primary and secondary search were clear). LAFD will remain on scene to overhaul the building and ensure there are no remaining hot spots inside. No reported injuries. Unknown cause/loss. MOTORISTS: avoid the area, as fire apparatus are blocking lanes in the vicinity. MEDIA: PIO Captain Weireter on scene.
