Update Firefighter Injury 06/04/2017

Update Firefighter Injury; 08:37PM; internal:/; FIREFIGHTER INJURY Update: The LAFD firefighter who suffered injuries from a fall on Saturday morning, June 3, remains in critical condition at a local trauma center on the evening of Sunday, June 4. Upon his arrival at the hospital immediately following the accident, the firefighter was rushed into emergency surgery to address numerous blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the fall. The member, whose name is not being released at this time, has been with the LAFD for two years. The Department thanks members of the public, allied fire departments, and especially our own members for their passionate and steadfast support at this difficult time. Firefighter Injury; 09:43AM; 348 S MAIN ST ; https://goo.gl/maps/rLjWjqeZ2BC2; At approximately 9:45 this morning, a Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) firefighter suffered critical injuries after a fall during a training exercise Downtown. The firefighter was transported to a local trauma center in critical condition. The Department will provide additional updates, as necessary.
