M.P.A., Public Administration

The Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the University of La Verne prepares students for careers in public and nonprofit administration in local, state, and national government, and strengthens the competences of those currently serving in these fields. The MPA program offers an innovative and practical curriculum that stresses intellectual and theoretical foundations for professionals preparing to take on socially responsible roles in public leadership and service.

M.S., Leadership and Management

The University of La Verne’s Master of Science in Leadership and Management (MSLM) curriculum educates effective future leaders for all types of organizations. The program provides students with the experience to apply theory to real-world applications, and graduates leave with both the ability to apply organizational leadership theory and the problem-solving skills needed to manage an organization.

La Verne’s MSLM consists of 33 semester hours (36 for students without an undergraduate degree in a management-related field), with 12 devoted to a concentration. Students can complete courses online or at one of several campus locations. Delivery Format

For the MPA program classes are primarily in the evening, in-person. Some may be offered as a hybrid course (50% in-person and 50% online/field research). The Leadership and Management program can be completed entirely online.

$800 per semester hour for the MPA
$885 per semester hour for the MS
