2024 SCHEDULE
Orientation is MANDATORY for NEW applicants and will provide an opportunity to familiarize applicants with the testing process prior to the written exam.
RSVP by email (lafdreg4@lacity.org) to confirm your attendance. The deadline is 3 PM, the Thursday prior to the orientation. Orientations that do not meet the minimum attendance requirement may be canceled. Check with the office or lafd.org the week before to verify.

Application Process
1. Fill out application and gather all required documents at the Reg-4 Dropbox link below.
2. Schedule an appointment by e-mail to submit your completed application with form of payment. Only applications that are completed will be accepted.

3. The deadline to submit an application is 12:00 PM, the Thursday prior to an exam.
