Update Fire Cause / Safety Statement Structure Fire; INC#1456; 09:30PM; 24647 W Gardenstone Ln; https://bit.ly/327HiNS; West Hills; The fire's cause has been categorized as accidental, and is attributed to carelessness with a candle. One resident who came forth following smoke exposure was examined by LAFD Paramedics, and declined offered ambulance transport. No other injury reported. NOTE: "The Los Angeles Fire Department is seeing a strong uptick in local fires caused by candles, with a trio of such fires recently - that thankfully caused no injuries, but led to fearful moments and costly home damage.
