COMPLETE Earthquake Mode; INC#1463; 09:06PM; The LAFD has concluded the systematic survey of the City of Los Angeles by ground and air, and is pleased to report that no major infrastructure damage was noted by our personnel in the City of Los Angeles, and that there has been no loss of life or serious injury that we can directly attribute to the M4.3 earthquake. With our survey complete, the LAFD has concluded Earthquake Emergency Mode and has resumed normal operations. We ask you to use today's quake as a reminder to be prepared. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire 09/16/2021 INC#0791

KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0791; 12:56PM; 8901 N Eton Av; https://bit.ly/3Am5uer; Canoga Park; Twenty-four firefighters confined the flames to the cooking area (and just one kitchen wall) of a mobile home, extinguishing the fire in 21 minutes. Both occupants evacuated safely (approx 98-year-old female and her caregiver). The female resident was evaluated on scene by paramedics as a precaution, but was without medical complaint. She chose to remain at home with her caregiver. The cause of the fire appears to be cooking-related. Rubbish Fire; INC#0376; 08:21AM; NB 110 Fwy x Solano; https://bit.ly/3w8WHdN; Elysian Park; Originally reported as a brush fire, LAFD arrived to find fire consuming less than one-quarter acre of rubbish only (has not spread to the brush) at or near a homeless encampment. The first 26 firefighters have extinguished the fire. Air Ops and incoming fire companies (not yet on scene) from the initial brush response have been cancelled. No reported injuries. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1227; 06:08PM; 1329 W 5th St; https://bit.ly/39aHZsT; Westlake; It took 44 firefighters 15 minutes to locate, confine, and extinguish fire in one third-floor unit. Firefighters instructed occupants in other nearby units to shelter in place, to protect them from smoke and toxic fumes. There were no reported injuries. Knockdown - Structure Fire; INC#1385; 06:50PM; 1956 N Alexandria Av; https://bit.ly/3k3xgGQ; Los Feliz; First arriving 20 LAFD Firefighters mounted a bold offensive fire attack, accessing, confining and extinguishing flames within a detached garage that was well involved with fire in just 7 minutes. The fire was prevented from extending to an adjacent and briefly threatened 2 story apartment building. No injury.
