Engine Response - Deceased Horse Recovery 02/14/2021 INC#1063

Engine Response - Deceased Horse Recovery; INC#1063; 05:43PM; 10805 W Wentworth St; https://bit.ly/3ajj9br; Hansen Dam; LAFD is on scene with Park Rangers of a deceased horse located at a creek. The horse is old and is believed to have passed due to natural causes. However, the responsible party tasked with removing the horse can not do so due to it's location. It is too far off the road to get their vehicle to the horse. LAFD was requested to assist in getting the horse close enough to the road to facilitate removal. The options are being evaluated with the potential of LAFD heavy rescue equipment and/or Urban Search and Rescue being brought in to assist.
