LAFD Battles Major Emergency Fire in Westlake

Tuesday, February 22, 2022

It took 40 Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters just 46 minutes in largely defensive operations to hold fire to a vacant two story Craftsman-style home at 930 South Park View Street that was well involved on their arrival, limiting fire damage to the exterior of a severely threatened and occupied two story apartment building to the north and preventing damage to another two story building, described as a daycare center to the south. There were no injuries. The fire cause is under active investigation.
