Firefighters located a contents-only (no structure involvement) fire in one unit of a four-story (three floors over parking) and quickly extinguished the flames, preventing spread to other rooms/units. Crews ventilated the apartment building with blowers to remove the smoke from inside of the structure. No reported injuries. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1176; 05:30PM; 729 S Park View St; http://bit.ly/35HStgz; Westlake; 65 FF in 18 minutes extinguished a fire in a one-story commercial building previously doing business as a house of worship. Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior fire attack, without relief from vertical ventilation in this case (concrete roof). The fire was located in low visibility conditions and doused by hose lines. No reported injuries.
