The man was taken safely into Police custody atop an approximately 150' crane at a construction site, and safely lowered to ground level without apparent injury. Hollywood Boulevard will soon reopen to all traffic as emergency vehicles clear the scene. Their intent is unclear. No escalating or off-site hazard known. #LATraffic: Hollywood Boulevard is closed to all traffic between Berendo Street and Kenmore Avenue (in the vicinity of Barnsdall Park) until LAFD operations are complete, unknown duration. Update Structure Fire; INC#0153; 03:55AM; 131 E Club House Av; https://bit.ly/2P8Hbyl; Venice; KNOCKDOWN: 26 firefighters extinguished the fire in 18 minutes. Building type updated to a one story bungalow on a raised foundation (with dormers). A primary and secondary search was conducted and no occupants located. No injuries reported. Firefighters will remain on scene to conduct overhaul operations. LA Dept of Water and Power are being notified for two power poles affected (there are no wires down and it is unknown if any power outages were caused).
