Update Multi-Patient Electrical Injury; INC#0424; 09:43AM; 360 S Flower St; https://bit.ly/3qWA7lQ; Downtown; 2 adult male private (electrical?) contractors (not public utility employees) have sustained "critical injuries" following what witnesses described as an "explosion" involving electrical equipment at or near a loading dock. Both men have been taken to an area hospital in critical condition. No other persons were injured. LADWP will be assisting LAFD in assuring equipment is fully and appropriately de-energized. Update Structure Fire; INC#0038; 03:29AM; 3745 S Grand Av; https://bit.ly/2ZQBx5M; Historic South-Central; KNOCKDOWN: 99 firefighters extinguished the fire in two commercial buildings in two hours and 39 minutes with no injuries reported. The original fire unit is a total loss and the exposed building sustained significant damage. Firefighters will be on scene throughout the remainder of the morning conducting overhaul operations while the Arson Investigators being their work in determining the cause of the fire.
