Update Structure Fire; INC#1224; 06:00PM; 10019 N Lemona Av; http://bit.ly/2ZxCc9s; Mission Hills; One adult male was home at the time of the fire and exited structure prior to LAFD arrival. He was transported for minor respiratory concerns. One additional male lives in the home and the American Red Cross is responding to assist with their displacement. One pet dog escaped the home but one cat was missing. Firefighters searched the home and found the cat hiding, safely bringing it out. Both dog and cat are not in any medical distress. One S.A.V.E. (Supplying Aid to Victims of Emergency) provided by the California Fire Foundation ongoing program was given to the occupants ($250 value) to assist with their immediate needs. Update Rubbish Fire; INC#0196; 04:17AM; 11007 W Ventura Bl; http://bit.ly/2ZtMGGT; Studio City; 8.27.19 3:30PM: On the morning of August 27, 2019, only four days after the incidents in question, the LAFD Arson and Counter-Terrorism Section filed a felony criminal complaint with the Targeted Crimes Section of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's (DA) Office. The DA's office filed two counts of 451(c) Arson of a Structure and 10 counts of 451(d) Arson of Property. Bail was set for $700,000. Update Brush Fire; INC#0971; 01:00PM; 2900 W Colorado Bl; http://bit.ly/2NwLEYv; Eagle Rock; The #ColoradoFire wildfire remains in a Unified Command (LAFD, Glendale FD, LA County FD, CHP) until further notice. *Speaking For Unified Command as of 1:00PM Tuesday*, the fire has consumed an estimated 45 acres with 85% containment (no change).LAFD Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) equipped with FLIR was flown this morning and found no hot spots. Equipment will be brought off the hill today and the goal is to have all LAFD resources released by 6PM tonight.There are no new injuries to report (One minor injury reported yesterday to a Glendale Fire Officer requiring no hospitalization). The two transition roads off the 134 Freeway will continue to remain closed until all operations are complete.
